Shared Branching

Have you ever been out of town and realized you needed to visit a bank branch, only to realize that your bank doesn't have any branches in the area? It can be a frustrating situation, but it's one that credit unions have found a solution for: shared branching.

Shared branching is a cooperative network of credit unions that allows members of participating credit unions to access their accounts at other credit union branches, even if they're not a member of that particular credit union. This means that you can visit a credit union branch in another city, state, or even country and still have access to your accounts and services.

At its core, shared branching is all about collaboration and community. By partnering with other credit unions, we're able to offer our members access to a wider range of services and locations. It's a win-win for everyone involved.

At UNOFCU, we're proud to be a part of the shared branching network. We believe that it's an important way to serve our members, whether they're at home or on the go. So the next time you're traveling and need to visit a bank branch, be sure to check if your credit union participates in shared branching. You just might be surprised at how easy it is to access your accounts, no matter where you are.

UNOFCU belongs to the Co-op Shared Branch network. Our participation allows our members to withdraw from or deposit to your UNOFCU account in all 50 states at over 5,000 shared credit union locations. Learn More
